Tom Patterson drew this map after a voyage to Antarctica: the electronic charts provided on board his ship lacked coastal detail and important place names. A retired US National Park Service cartographer, he designed a map like the ones visitors receive when entering a national park: accurate, informative and easy on the eye, in the colours of Antarctica, with icy waters brimming with life, glaciers everywhere and rocky shores where penguins gather.

It covers the most visited part of the Antarctic Peninsula, north of the Antarctic Circle, and the South Shetland Islands, with cruise landing sites. We print it to order in our Premium Edition collection, close to you: in Germany for Europe, in Canada for North America.
