La Compagnie des Cartes undertakes to prepare and entrust your products to the carrier within two working days following your order.

Shipping costs include packaging, handling and postage.

The price list for products shipped from France is as follows (all prices include VAT)*:

2. Free returns / refunds

For the procedure, it’s very simple: all requests can be made via our contact form.

⏱️ Right of withdrawal (European Union)

In accordance with European consumer law, you have a legal period of 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order to notify us of your decision to withdraw, without having to provide a reason.

👉 At Cartovia, we extend this period to 30 days, for all orders, worldwide.

Once your return request has been notified, you then have an additional 14-day period to return the items, in accordance with European regulations.

🇫🇷 Mainland France — free returns within 30 days

Products must be returned new, unused, in perfect condition, and in their original packaging.

With the exception of bulky items (wall maps, relief maps, globes), return shipping costs are covered by Cartovia, at your choice:

• via a prepaid return label, or
• through reimbursement of return shipping costs by SEPA bank transfer.

Practical details (return address, instructions) will be sent to you by email within 48 hours.

Once the return has been received and inspected at our warehouse, the refund is issued within 48 business hours, and no later than the legal deadline of 14 days following notification of your withdrawal.

📌 Initial shipping costs (standard delivery) are also refunded, in accordance with European regulations.

🇪🇺 Europe (excluding mainland France) — returns accepted within 30 days

Returns are accepted within 30 days from the date the order is received, under the same conditions as for mainland France.

👉 Return shipping costs from a European country are the responsibility of the customer, in accordance with European law.

Once the return has been received and inspected at our warehouse, the refund is issued within 48 business hours, and no later than the legal deadline of 14 days following notification of your withdrawal.

📌 Initial shipping costs (standard delivery) are also refunded, in accordance with European regulations.

🌍 Outside Europe — returns accepted within 30 days

Returns are also accepted within 30 days from the date the order is received, provided that products are:

• new,
• unused,
• in perfect condition,
• in their original packaging.

👉 Return shipping costs from outside Europe are the responsibility of the customer, including any customs duties, taxes, or re-importation fees.

The refund is issued after receipt and inspection of the items.

❗ Legal exceptions

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code (and European Directive 2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• personalised or custom-made products
• made-to-order products (print-on-demand).

These products therefore cannot be returned or refunded, except in the event of a defect or an error on our part.

💳 Refund methods

Refunds are issued using the original method of payment, unless the customer expressly agrees to another method.

No additional fees will be applied as part of the refund.
