Pierre Hérant walked alone from Nice to Mont-Saint-Michel in 70 days, creating his own route from a succession of long-distance trails and pilgrimage paths.

This illustrated book recounts the 1,750 km journey from the Mediterranean to the English Channel, through magnificent rural French landscapes seldom visited by walkers. At the end of a trip rich in experiences and surprises, he stayed with the monks of Mont-Saint-Michel and discovered this world-famous Wonder of the West.
