The maps feature contour lines at 50m intervals, enhanced with shading and graphic relief. An overlay highlights local trails and long-distance routes, including the GTA (Grande Traversata delle Alpi), the Via Alpina, the Tour del Monte Rosa, and the Alta Via del Monti Liguri—the high-level route along the Ligurian Alps. Difficult sections of the routes and Via Ferrata sections are indicated. New editions now feature an overlay highlighting cycle routes, where indicated in the individual map description.
