The map of the long-distance hiking trails (GR®) in France published by IGN , produced in partnership with the FFRandonnée , offers a complete overview of the network of long-distance trails in metropolitan France.

At a scale of 1:1,000,000 , it allows for easy visualization of connections between GR® and GR® de Pays routes , facilitating the planning of multi-day hikes or long-distance crossings. The map also presents useful information on trail markings , natural parks , and access points to the trails.

A detailed look at the Paris region highlights the density of hiking trails in Île-de-France. In this new edition, train stations are also indicated to encourage active travel.
