has produced an extremely well-presented map that is pleasant to use and very detailed, with a considerable amount of information for visitors.

Unlike other maps of Marrakech, this one includes not only the main streets of the Medina, but also the smaller ones, including more than 400 derbs (small streets/alleys).

Different colours show areas of traditional or modern architecture, public or private gardens, street markets, etc. Symbols indicate numerous hotels/guest houses, cafés, restaurants, banks, taxi or horse-drawn carriage stands, public telephones or internet cafés, hospitals, etc. The route of the Medina's small internal bus is clearly shown with all stops.

Shopping streets with souks and markets are coloured, specifying the type of goods sold, and the gates of souks that close at night are also indicated.

The ramparts, Koutoubia Mosque, the kasbah, the Saadian Tombs, the ruins of Badi Palace, the Menara basin and its pavilion are examples of the many monuments that reflect the Medina's worldwide value. The authenticity of the Medina's urban structures and monuments has been preserved intact.

The map includes an index of streets and derbs (small alleys), as well as hotels and guest houses. GPS coordinates are provided for tourist points and for all gates of the Medina.

On the back cover of the map there is a mini-map of the Medina showing the location of places to visit, and another mini-map showing the location of all gates and districts. The legends and text are in French and English.
