Large detailed map of Cairo (scale 1 / 12,500) with a street index. The reverse side of the map focuses on the parts of the country that have been reopened for tourism, meaning from the Mediterranean coast to the south of the Aswan Dam. The southernmost part remains closed for the time being, as does the border crossing with Sudan. The publisher was also forced to remove the Great Sand Sea and portions of the Western Desert for the same reason of unrest, as border areas with Libya remain very unstable.

This map offers insets on Cairo, Alexandria, and the Giza pyramids. Some tourist information is indicated using symbols: attractions, museums, beaches, religious buildings, campsites, airports, pyramids, wells, shipwrecks, ports, lighthouses, oases, palaces.

This map is printed on waterproof and biodegradable paper.
