The Prespa region and Mount Voras (Kaimaktsalan) hiking map highlights an exceptional area where remarkable natural landscapes, unique biodiversity and Byzantine heritage meet. Prespa is world-renowned for its ecological richness: it is home to the world's largest breeding colony of Dalmatian pelicans and more than 260 bird species, making it a prime destination for nature lovers and birdwatchers.

The map offers a selection of short and long hikes to the region's most enchanting places: lakes, protected wetlands, traditional villages and Byzantine monuments. It is an excellent aid for exploring this still-unspoilt area on foot or by bicycle.

Mount Voras, also known as Kaimaktsalan (2,524 m), adds wooded slopes crossed by numerous hiking trails. The range has a ski resort offering spectacular views near the summit, as well as the famous Pozar thermal springs at its foot.

The map highlights 22 hiking routes and 8 cycling routes, along with the European E4 and E6 trails, providing a comprehensive view of touring opportunities in this mountainous border region.
