Teijo's landscape is dominated by sea islands, lakes, and rocky forests. In the lowlands, there are sedges, slope spruces, and water ravens, as well as a marshland rare in southern Finland. Canada geese, cranes, liros, and teals nest here; among the mammals, you can encounter roe deer and lynx. There are 50 kilometers of nature trails and marked routes. Hikers are also served by log cabins, campfire sites, tent sites, and a rental cabin. Game fish is planted in Matildanjärvi for the enjoyment of recreational anglers. The blacksmith shops of Halikonlahti tell of an industry that began in the 17th century. Kemiönsaari is known for its well-marked routes and unforgettable island experiences.
The map is printed on excellent Tyvek material, which is water and tear resistant.
