"Fin del Mundo": the motto says it all. To portray the labyrinth of channels, fjords and glaciers of Southern Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, which he has visited three times, Tom Patterson chose a 3D perspective view with a curved horizon and a sprinkling of stars, to emphasise how remote these lands at the end of the world are.
This view was created by Tom Patterson, a retired US National Park Service cartographer and co-creator of the Equal Earth projection, and we print it to order in our Premium Edition collection, close to you: in Germany for Europe, in Canada for North America.
