Adventure Cycling's Atlantic Coast Bicycle Route runs 2,525 miles from Bar Harbor, Maine, to Fort Myers Beach, Florida, through a region rich in history.
The route passes directly through Washington, D.C., and Richmond, with spurs to Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Charleston and Savannah.
The Florida Connector map offers a quieter detour from St Augustine to Fort Myers Beach via the Orlando area, then to Fort Lauderdale, bypassing the busy coastal A1A route.
