The Pacific Crest Trail: Northern California map pack contains two topographic map guides covering the PCT across northern California's complex terrain, from the Oregon border to Mount Lassen's lava fields at the southern end of the Cascades.

Coverage begins at Siskiyou Summit on the Oregon-California border, continues through the Klamath Mountains, the jagged Castle Crags and the volcanic cones of Mount Shasta and Mount Lassen, and ends at Sierra Buttes on the northern edge of the Sierra Nevada.

The PCT runs 2,650 miles from the Canadian border through Washington, Oregon and California to the Mexican border. It crosses some of the western United States' wildest scenery, including six national parks, 25 national forests, 48 wilderness areas, the volcanic Cascades of the Pacific Northwest, the snowy Sierra Nevada and the Mojave region.
