The Northville-Placid Trail (NPT), described as the jewel of Adirondack Park's trail network, was built in 1923 through remote lake country. The map was expertly researched and created with the Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK).
It guides walkers through some of the wildest and most remote parts of Adirondack Park, whose area is given in the supplied description as 6.1 million hectares.
