The path then climbs, offering beautiful views over numerous valleys: everyday life is already behind you. Only then will you be ready to enter the cloister of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges Cathedral, whose pillars offer glimpses of the peaceful surrounding mountains. The path then continues for a moment of reflection among the crowds of pilgrims to Lourdes, before descending back towards the verdant valleys of the Basque Country, at the foot of the Pyrenees and the Camino Francés.
