Easy-to-walk hills, snow-covered bogs, and lush river valleys make up the largest wilderness area in our country. The popular Sevetti-Pulmanki route includes several deserted huts. Experienced hikers can choose their own route through the vast mountains. The region is also ideal for mountain biking, but the trails are unmarked and can be technically challenging. The proximity of the Arctic Ocean makes the weather changeable.
