This Trans-Siberian pocket atlas is published by ITM. One of the world's legendary rail journeys, the Trans-Siberian Railway crosses vast expanses of land, steppe and tundra as it makes its way from Moscow to Vladivostok.

After a long shared western section, two routes branch towards Mongolia and northern China in the east. The atlas also covers the unusual route north of Lake Baikal, known as the BAM (Baikal-Amur Mainline).

The publisher chose an atlas format to cover these rail networks from west to east. An additional page is included for travellers starting in St Petersburg.

City maps include St Petersburg, Moscow and the historic towns of Sergiyev Posad and Suzdal. An index of towns and cities is also provided.

Our view: this type of map had not previously been available. A good idea!
