The Bikeline EuroVelo 3 – Aachen to Paris cycling guide covers approximately 560 km on the “Pilger Route”, a smooth and accessible route that largely follows rivers, canals and former railway lines . The route crosses Wallonia , Avesnois , Thiérache and the Oise valley , before reaching Île-de-France and Paris via the Ourcq canal .

You'll cycle through peaceful landscapes (meadows, orchards, forests), past small medieval towns and numerous fortified churches , while discovering major cultural destinations such as Liège , Namur , and of course, Paris . The route is mostly made up of well-maintained cycle paths and has few elevation changes , making it ideal for a leisurely cycling trip. Part of the route follows the Stevenson Cycle Route , recognized as a Cultural Route by the Council of Europe.
