The Chemin des Bonshommes is the cross-border GR 107 long-distance trail through the Pyrenees. The Cathars used this path to flee the crusades and the Inquisition decreed by the Catholic Church of Rome with the support of the King of France. These Cathars were also commonly known as the “bonshommes”, or “good men”.
