Welcome to the 1st edition of the Lower Mainland, BC Fishing Log!
The Lower Mainland offers some of the best fishing in British Columbia, with a myriad of fishable waters ranging from large lakes like Harrison and Stave Lakes to rivers of all shapes and sizes. Anglers will find cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, kokanee, Dolly Varden, steelhead and salmon in the Lower Mainland’s waters. Opportunities abound, from urban fishing spots easily accessible by transit or car to remote, hike-able lakes located a few hours from the nearest highway on 4WD back roads.
As we continue to work to provide the best and most up-to-date information, users of this fishing map book will find that the fishing descriptions, access and facilities have been revised and fully updated, including campsite, lodge and resort details. We have also included new and improved bathymetric lake depth maps, as well as the most up-to-date fish species and stock information available.
