The Kancamagus Highway, stretching 34 miles from Conway to Lincoln, is one of the most beautiful and popular drives in the East. Untouched forests, high mountain vistas, rocky streams, and frequent elk sightings are among the many attractions of this National Scenic Byway. The road reaches its highest point—2,855 feet—at Kancamagus Pass, marking the continental divide between the Saco and Merrimack drainages. Mount Moosilauke, at 4,802 feet, is the tenth-highest and most southwesterly of the 4,000-foot peaks in the White Mountains. On a clear day, it offers magnificent views of Vermont to the west. This gentle giant has been climbed by locals for many years. Map Features Suggested Day Hikes Campgrounds Parking & Lookouts Trail Mileage Between Points Detailed Mapping Areas Covered Mt.
