Tom Patterson – Shaded Relief Wall Maps
A long-time cartographer with the US National Park Service, Tom Patterson is one of the great masters of shaded relief. A co-founder of Natural Earth, a free cartographic dataset, he also designed the Equal Earth projection with Bojan Šavrič and Bernhard Jenny. His maps, strikingly clear and natural, are known to cartographers around the world.
We print a selection of his large wall maps to order: physical maps of Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Arctic, the ocean floors of the world and the North Atlantic, the Earth seen from space, and remarkable regions, from Everest in 3D to Patagonia, from Svalbard to Tahiti. His Equal Earth world maps, in 12 languages, have their own collection: Equal Earth Wall Maps.
Each copy is printed individually close to you: in Germany for Europe, in Canada for Canadian orders. Sizes and finishes (satin photo paper or acrylic panel) vary by map.
The Cartovia guarantee — Every map is printed to order, in the latest version published by its author. No old stock, ever.
